I was inspired by an amazing little Christmas Tree
made by Rita of Red Pepper Quilts.
My friend Katherine saw the same post,
so two weeks ago, while on retreat,
we couldn't resist and just had to make the little trees!
I made mine with 2.5" squares
 For the half-square triangles,
I started out with 3" squares,
sewed the triangles
 and trimmed to 2.5" squares
 ... fabric-slaw!
here it is on the design wall...
Love the way Rita quilted hers...
so I did the same thing
and LOVE, LOVE how it turned out!
...may have to make a throw size...
wouldn't that be cool?

Thanks so much for visiting today
and hope you enjoy the rest of the hop!
